Description: Hydraulic Cylindrical Grinding Machines manufactured by Hi-Life Machine Tools are available in six different models with centre height ranging from 150 to 200 mm and grinding length of 300/500/ 800/1000/1250/1500 mm with optional internal grinding attachment. The machine bed of this machine is of one piece close grained graded cast iron. Its box structure design with ribs provides high rigidity & stability. The work head table as well as the grinding wheel head slideways are coated with slideway material "TURCITE-B″ to give no stick - slip effect and excellent vibration damping. The work head can be swivelled to facilitate taper grinding. The work head spindle can be locked for between centre grinding or it can be fixed to the driving plate to carry work holding fixtures like collets, face plates of chucks. The work head spindle is made of special alloy steel, specially heat treated, ground and lapped to achieve very high accuracy and long life. The internal grinding attachment with its independent drive motor is hinged on wheel head and can be quickly lowered into grinding position. The hydraulic power pack with solenoid valves is housed outside the machine. An extremely good thermal stability is achieved in the machine by isolating the hydraulic unit.
