Strip wound hoses are produced by helically winding a pre-formed strip around a mandrel of the required size. A packing of copper wire, rubber or yarn may be provided within the folds during the manufacturing process to obtain liquid tightness. KPC's strip wound hoses are manufactured from different materials such as stainless steel, zinc plated steel or brass, which provide excellent resistance and flexibility. Special winding processes ensure a low leakage rate and high flexibility. Corrugated hoses are manufactured by longitudinally welding strips to obtain thin wall tubes which are then hydraulically corrugated by means of special tools. The combination of flexibility and pressure resistance is achieved by a row of annular corrugations each of which is capable of elastic deformation. KPC Flexi Tubes manufactures and supplies of flexible metal hose, interlock hoses, hydraulic hose assembly, metal flexible conduits, corrugated metal tubes and fittings. Its range includes flexible metal hoses, strip wound double interlock hoses with/without packing for pressure application loading and for conveying all type of gases, air, steam and fumes; and with without wire braiding and with PVC covering as electrical conduit for covering cables. KFC undertakes every possible quality control method, using its technical support and modern facilities.
