Description: Hydraulic pressure switch are offered in two models- P2 and P3. These switches are used to provide an electrical signal whenever hydraulic pressure exceeds or drops the preset value. The signal can be directly taken from electrical terminals provided on the pressure switch. A hydraulic/pneumatic line connected to the input line of the switch operates the piston. The slight movement of the piston is converted through a cam-lever arrangement to operate a SPDT limit switch, thereby electrical changeover signal takes place, that is, the NC contact opens and the NO contact closes. The changes made to the spring compression by adjusting the screw helps in setting the pressure. If the hydraulic pressure is disconnected, the piston returns to its original position by spring force.
