Mixer drum cleaning uses a specialized high pressure water jet tool. The jetting process causes no damage to the drum or other interior surfaces and reduces many of the hazards that are associated with traditional pneumatic chipping methods such as damage to the drum from chisels or liability resulting from injury to personnel such as falling concrete. The cleaning tool is positioned along the centerline of the drum as the mixer rotates in charge mode and a high pressure water jet stream is manipulated to cause jet contact over the entire internal surface of the drum including front & rear facets of the rotating fins.
