Hydro-Excavation is a process of allowing digging in any soil condition without damaging existing infrastructures. It is a safe, non-destructive digging technology for utilities and industrial facilities. Digging can take place close to trees with only minor peripheral damage to the roots. This is important for the environment and for safety, leaving the tree alive and unbroken. It is quicker and safer than hand digging, with much smaller hole size and hence smaller reinstatement costs.
