Description: Hydro Wound PP Cartridges are manufactured with an interlocking weave (diagonally wound), which provides an efficient and cost effective cartridge. It offers a gradual pressure drop over cartridge life versus surface media that have an abrupt cut off when loaded. The larger particles are trapped at the surface as they go down the torturous path of the windings. These cartridges are available in lengths from 10 inches - 70 inches. The micron ratings offered are 0.2/0.5/1/5/10/25/50/75/100. Hydro filters are available in 'one piece' costruction in 1016 sizes between 250-1016mm and can be supplied to suit both 247mm (9 3/4 inches) and nominal 250mm (10 inches) imported cartridge housings. The one-piece construction removes the problem of by-pass which occurs when stacking 250mm long elements into vessels using spacers for sealing between each one. The cartridges are available with Polypropylene, or cotton materials wound into Polypropylene, 304 stainless steel or tinned steel cores.
