Hydrophobic coating is applied to the housing wall in the areas of crevices, chinks, openings and capillaries to prevent moisture. It bonds with the glass to create a barrier against dirt, repelling dust, grease and liquid. The coating is non-acidic. It allows glass to be cleaned with a wiping cloth without cleaning solution. It is a durable water repellant coating that repels water and salt spray. Hydrophobic coating makes water and liquids bead up on the surface.
