Our laser communication terminals can be integrated into an aircraft, or used in a ground station for transmitting 2.5 Gbps data between aircraft, from an aircraft to ground, or site to site, with link ranges greater than 100 km between aircraft at altitudes of 30,000 ft. The terminals operate full duplex and connect networks via optical & electrical gigabit ethernet or through interface with the multi-platform common data link (MP-CDL). A cooperative laser-based beacon tracking system allows for the communicating terminals to lock on each other, and provide a stable line-of-sight for transmitting the data modulated laser energy. The joint service contamination surface detector (JCSD) is a vehicle-mounted devices which detects chemicals using a downward looking laser to read the chemical signatures of the ground as the vehicle is in motion, at a speed as fast as 45 mph. It can detect chemical warfare agents (CWA), toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), and non traditional agents (NTAs). This system is a leap-ahead capability that enables real-time, non-contact chemical reconnaissance entirely on the move. Wide area surveillance LIDAR provides real-time detection of a biological agent attack over an entire facility, campus, event-venue, or even an entire city. Using a single eye-safe, long range laser tuned to the characteristics of bio-agents released in the air, the WAM LIDAR provides a long-range trigger sensor for high-profile facilities protection.
