Profile: Ian Farmer Associates (1998) Ltd. is a provider of ground investigation services. We avail ISO 9001:2008 quality certification. Our ground investigation works cover geotechnical & environmental services, construction and built environment services. These services are available covering materials technology, on-site chemical testing and monitoring services. Our works are listed as rock exploration by rotary drilling & coring, instrumentation & monitoring, in-situ tests such as plate loading, CBR and density using nuclear density gauges. We also offer services to determine the groundwater conditions. Our installation works for completed boreholes range from a basic groundwater monitoring standpipe through to more sensitive instrumentation such as vibrating wire piezometers. To augment or replace shallow boreholes we offer a complete trial pitting service. We also carry out detailed mapping of excavations with trial pits being shored to provide for safe access and working conditions. In addition to this we also carry out asbestos surveying works.
