Profile: Imperial Steel Tank Co. is a fabricator of pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, manways, half oval coil jackets, hazardous chemical tanks and reactors. Manways are the openings or access points to a pressure vessel or storage tank. The number of manways, the size of the manway opening, and the manway style vary from application to application. We supply manways and hand holes ranging from 6" to 36" in diameter. We construct our manway products from the same materials used to build our pressure vessels and storage tanks which means that they can be standard or API code. We specialize in the replacement of flanged-and-bolted style manways with quick-open manways.
