Description: Infrared Thermometer for Plastic Films 3iP7 is used to measure temperature, which cannot be measured by normal infrared thermometers in plastic processing. The plastic processing involves producing and conversion of polyester (PET), fluoroplastic, Teflon, acrylic, nylon (polyamide) and PVC polycarbonate. The 3iP7 has a spectral response of 7.9 microns, which enables measuring the thin film surface temperature accurately. This thermometer calculates maximum, minimum, difference and average temperature, while the recall feature allows accessing the last reading. The backlit display is used to read under poor lighting conditions. The locking trigger allows continuous operation, while adjustable HI/LO alarms signal over-and under-range temperature conditions. This instrument is supported with a padded nylon carrying case, shoulder strap and tripod mount. It has the laser sighting and on-board data logging capabilities that eliminates the need for clipboards.
