Fittings equipped with external, annular rings fir gripping, which are inserted into flexible rubber or plastic tubing as a connection are called as insert fitting. It is a part in a machine, piping or tubing that can attach or connect two or more larger parts. Some of insert fittings are insert tees, insert elbow, insert coupler, insert plug and insert male adapter. Fittings are used in pipe and plumbing systems to connect straight pipe or tubing sections, to adapt to different sizes or shapes and to regulate fluid flow. The insert fittings are made of plastics like polyethylene, PVC, polypropylene and also they are made up of metals like iron, stainless steel and brass.
