Profile: Iris AO, Inc. is a manufacturer of adaptive optics controllers, calibrated high-voltage drive electronics, and development systems. Our product line includes deformable mirrors, high voltage drive electronics, and AO development systems. Our Iris AO PTT111-X and PTT489-X deformable mirrors (DM) are used for the deformable mirrors in the industry. These micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) piston/tip/tilt (PTT) DMs come with a factory-calibrated position controller that uses intuitive position commands, rather than nonlinear voltages to position the DM. Mirror-array shapes can be represented in the form of Zernikes (21 modes) or piston/tip/tilt positions for each segment. It is featured with a segmented mirror, calibrated drive electronics, cables and printed-circuit DM interface board. The AO Engine consists of the high-performance PTT111-X deformable mirror (DM), 128 channel high voltage drive electronics, matched Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor (WFS), and adaptive optics (AO) control computer and AO software. This basic AO Engine is intended for integration into an existing optical system which would benefit from the application of adaptive optics.
