Profile: Iscar Metals Inc. is a producer of cutting tools for metalworking, including turning, grooving, milling, hole making, boring and threading tools. We offer products for groove turn, ISO turn, hole making, milling, and tool holding. Our milling tools include heliplus, tangmill, solidshred, ballplus, and millsherd. The tangmill includes tangential milling system with LNKX butterfly-shaped inserts, and optimal chip control. The ballplus is a multifunction system comprised of various shank options and 5 milling head types. The SUMO TEC grades feature a special post-coating treatment which provides substantially improved tool life and better reliability. This process improves toughness and chipping resistance, reduces friction and built-up edge, thus increasing the tool life. The golden-colored flank facilitates wear detection.
