Profile: Isomet Corporation. specializes in the manufacturing of acousto-optic (AO) devices that are used in applications including graphic arts, semiconductor wafer inspection, military systems, materials processing and biophotonics. Our AO devices include modulators, Q-switches, deflectors, tunable filters, signal processors, frequency shifters, fiber optic couplers, modulator drivers, deflector drivers and Q-switch drivers. Our AO deflectors produce a change in first-order spot position in response to a change in the frequency of the input RF signal. These AO deflectors allow full electronic control of spot position, with no moving parts, for linear scan and random access. With certain limitations, two AO deflectors may be mounted orthogonally to provide XY (dual-axis) capability. We also offer custom fiber-optic components and custom fabrication/A-R coating of most optical materials.
