As for the rolled-formed bellows, the outside and the inside diameters can be created optionally within the extent of elongation of the materials, and can be produced in any size. It is easy to form thick sheet bellows, which can be said to be suitable for use under high pressure. Metal diaphragms are manufactured by forming a thin metal sheet into a ripple shape. These diaphragms have the property of pliability in the direction of the axis when subjected to pressure and force, while retaining their hermeticity.
