Profile: JP-Tinsmith specializes in lighting equipments. Our product line includes brass wall lantern, chandeliers, kerosene & post lamps, scones, and copper lantern. Our lantern is constructed using brass so it is well suited for outdoor use. The brass bulls-eye reflector is lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The balance of the lantern is not lacquered so that it will develop a rich, natural patina. The door on the front is operable so the bulb can be easily changed. Our post lamp is designed with upper and lower corner supports results in a lamp that is very sturdy and virtually waterproof. The channels are built into these supports and the glass is slipped into them from the outside of the lamp (most lamps were commonly designed so that the glass was installed from the inside of the lamp and secured in place by bending metal tabs). This lamp is made of copper, a metal that naturally acquires a beautiful patina and is well suited for outdoor use.
