The Transfix™ detects the aging of transformer, and the type of fault indicated from results. Our Minitrans™ is a new generation of on-line DGA equipment based on the same core technology as the successful Transfix™. The Minitrans™ detect the vast majority of developing faults in their infancy, therefore determine the condition of the transformer. The critical measurement of acetylene (C2H2) allows the system to detect the onset of arcing in the transformer. It will also give some indication of the type of fault, although full analysis of an oil sample is recommended for accurate fault diagnosis.
