Our UTV skid units are universal application skid units that are designed to fit most UTV units. The basic dimensions of each unit is 48" wide by 54" long. Weight and height varies according to skid unit. Produced out of bright aluminum diamond plate, tubing and stainless steel, it is built to take the elements. The Medlite comes standard with retractable IV pole, guidelock 3 position seat with seatbelt, 9 cubic feet of enclosed storage and 10 Velcro D loop straps to secure a long board or stokes basket to the unit. Our Medlite Transport Deluxe includes all standard items on Medlite Transport plus a slide-out tray in the storage area. The Medlite Transport (MTSTR-09) is designed to carry one patient on a full size standard ambulance stretcher and one EMS attendant. The stretcher rides inside the Medlite Transport and attaches in much the same way as the average stretcher is attached inside an ambulance. With a customer supplied standard lock/release mechanism specific to the make and model stretcher being used, the Medlite Transport stretcher is built to be placed in most UTV chassis models. The attendants seat with seat belt glides on wheels the entire length of the unit and is able to be locked in three different locations along the guide rails to meet any emergency situation. There is also a handy step included on the MTSTR-09 for ease of entering the Medlite. A secondary belt securing mechanism is supplied in case of an unexpected release by the primary lock/release mechanism.
