Profile: Kontax Engineering Ltd. manufactures low temperature differential Stirling engine, high temperature differential Stirling engine, and thermo-acoustic engine. We also manufacture CNC (computer numerical control) lathes and two XYZ CNC milling machines. The low temperature differential Stirling engine is supplied in a rigid black card tube, approximately 160 mm diameter and 200 mm tall, which is carefully filled with supportive styro foam chips, and then wrapped in a waterproof and tamper proof blue poly-mailer. The thermo-acoustic engine operates from a tiny methylated spirit (denatured alcohol) flame, and optimum running speed is 2700 rpm when warmed up fully.
