Profile: Lansmont Corp. is a manufacturer of measurement and test monitoring equipment. Our product line includes shock machine, vibration system, drop tester and used equipment. Our model PDT-56 is Lansmont entry level precision drop tester. The PDT-56 consists of a drop leaf assembly housed in a cast aluminum structure that supports the precision guides and the pneumatic cylinder. This support structure is mounted on a 3 inch (76 mm) diameter chrome-plated steel column that is rigidly fixed to the ½ inch (13mm) thick steel base plate with a heavy-duty collar. The weight of the drop tester is counterbalanced so changing drop heights is easy; simply remove the lock pin on the rear of the machine, move the assembly up or down as required, and reinsert the pin. The steel column is pre-drilled to give 1 inch (25mm) drop height increments up to 36 inches (914 mm) and 6 inch (152 mm) increments up to 72 inches (1829 mm). Our model 15D shock test system is the smallest in the Lansmont shock equipment line. The shock equipment is small and precise in nature. The model 15D shock test system incorporates an electric hoist for table position and utilizes a damped suspension seismic base impact surface. The seismic base is a massive steel block that isolates shock energy from transmitting into the laboratory floor and surrounding building. This system is outfitted with Lansmont TouchTest™ shock control system for ease of operation.
