Large Dry Chemical Systems combine the flexibility of a hand portable fire extinguisher with the fire-killing power. This is designed for protection of extra hazardous areas where large fires must be extinguished. This features greater agent capacity, longer discharge times, and higher flow rates than portable extinguishers. It includes nitrogen cylinder to provide for pressurization of the tank and fluidization of the dry chemical, storage tank to hold a quantity of dry chemical extinguishing agent, hose line(s) to deliver the agent from the storage tank to the nozzle assembly and nozzle assembly to control and direct the flow of dry chemical to the fire.
