Description: The heavy-duty lathe machine offered by Vaishali Machine Tools is specifically designed to achieve good results. The constructional features include: the deep lathe bed and made from graded cast-iron hardened and ground with diagonal webs to withstand torsional strain. The bed is strongly braced with cross ribs that are provided with a gap bed. The head stock is made of a cone pulley type and the spindle is made of EN-8 steel of high tensile strength threaded nose, running in plain parallel lead bronze bearing to obtain B spindle speed (4 higher speeds and 4 lower speeds by applying back gearing). The saddle is mounted on an inverted 'V' and flat ways of the bed so as to enable the carriage to have a long bearing on the bed. The carriage has a cross slide and compound rest with a square tool post. Operating screws are also provided. The dial indicator facilitates the engagement of the lead screw for thread cutting. The apron is a sturdy and double-walled construction, designed for independent drive motion for feeds and screw cutting with interlocking. The gears, bearings and worm are lubricated from the oil sump provided. The company also undertakes the manufacture of heavy-duty lathe as per customers' specifications.
