The ShapeScan optimizer incorporates the Dynavision L4 laser scanner. It collects data over a 120° contour of the log, every one inch along the log's length. Our ReadysScan SL optimizer is based on the Pentium® processor, Windows® operating system and our ReadyScan carriage optimizer. It incorporates the Dynavision L4 laser scanner, and merges the data gathered from two sides to offer a near complete cross section of the log.
