Profile: Lightguard Systems, Inc. is a provider of pedestrian crosswalk LED warning systems. Our in-roadway warning light(IRWL) enhanced crosswalk system is designed to alert approaching motorists to the presence of a pedestrian at a street crossing. Our in-pavement signal light mounting base plate is used to secure and protect in-roadway warning light signal head module. Our standard power control unit (PCU) accepts call signal inputs from either manual pedestrian push button device or automatic pedestrian activation detector and once it activated the Enlighten1&trade flashing light visually alerts motorists to the presence of pedestrians entering the crosswalk.
