Description: Hybridised Linear Motion Wire Wound Potentiometer renders stability of wire wound coupled with infinite resolution and long life of conductive plastic technology. This product transforms reciprocatory linear motion to feed back controls for accurate linear measurement within linearity tolerance of ±1 %. The resistive track and wiper assembly are housed in 32 mm square custom designed aluminium housing mounted on equipment by adjustable clamps. The wiper is mounted on nonmagnetic stainless steel shaft of 6 mm diameter. The shaft moves in sintered bush for long life. The front and back covers are fitted with rubber gasket to protect it from dust and liquid splash. The electrical connections are either through solenoid connectors fitted at the end of pot or on top as per requirement, loose wires are also offered. This product is available in stroke length from 50 mm to 500 mm in the steps of 50 mm. The resistance ranges from 100 ohms to 5 K per 50 mm stroke length and power ratting 0.75 W per 50 mm stroke length. The actuating shaft is supplied either with 6 mm threading, ball joint coupling, or rod end bearings.
