Profile: Luhrfilter Ltd. is a provider of dust filtration and gas cleaning systems. Our equipment is used extensively in all industrial processes that generate dust. We supply systems with either vertically or horizontally orientated filter elements. To complement our range of filters for high temperature applications we manufacture forced convection heat exchangers which in certain processes can be used as recuperators. In addition to the abatement of dusts and fume, we are able to offer our dry gas adsorption systems for the reduction of acidic elements, dioxins and heavy metals. Our range of flat bag fabric filters comprise both horizontally and vertically mounted filter elements. Filters can be supplied with a number of cleaning device alternatives. In our medium pressure off-line filter, cleaning of the filter elements take place off-line. The cleaning air is generated by a centrifugal fan mounted on a traveling carriage external to the filter. The cleaning air leaving the fan passes via a rotary valve to a plenum from where it is injected into the filter elements in reverse flow.
