The EAS-compact is a backlash-free, load disconnecting torque limiting clutch. These clutches disengage on overload, and re-engage after 360°, at exactly the same point. When in operation, the input and the output always have the same angular position to one another. After the malfunction has been resolved, they are automatically ready for operation.
