Profile: Measurement Technology Northwest designs and manufactures sophisticated testing & measurement instrumentation systems, and develops user-friendly automated control programs for a wide variety of commercial, research & government clients. We provide mechanical, electrical, and software engineering services to several diverse industries. The sweating guarded hotplate produces accurate, repeatable measurements of the thermal resistance and vapor permeability of textiles. Our SGHP hotplate system is designed in accordance with ISO 11092, ASTM F1868, and NFPA 1971, to measure both Rct (thermal) & Ret (vapor) characteristics. Sweating capability is achieved through a porous wicking assembly on the surface of the test plate and its outer guard ring. SGHP systems include hotplate with variable speed airflow hood, gravity-fed fluid supply system, PC computer, ThermDAC control software, plus ambient temperature and humidity probes. We manufacture a wide range of precision instruments for measuring and evaluating the thermal comfort of textiles, garments & dynamic thermal environments such as aircraft, truck & automobile interiors. Our comprehensive line of thermal mannikins and guarded hotplate systems, support all major industry test standards for thermal insulation & moisture permeability. The LCI-80 is a rugged, compact addition to the line control instrument product line. It is an ideal product to replace panel meters and analog gauges in rotational applications. The LCI-90 features a smaller enclosure than the LCI-100, and is designed as a drop in replacement for existing line control instruments. The display is UL and CE listed, network configurable, fully programmable, & comes equipped with six alarms and 3 modes of analog sensor calibration. As with all LCI displays, the LCI-90 is protected from the elements, with a 316 stainless front panel with fully sealed push-buttons offering NEMA 4X-level watertight protection.
