Metal Etching Equipment
Description: Metcon Metal-Etching Equipment (MEE) is a simple device used for marking monogram, part number, emblem and designs on any electrically conductive surface. It operates on 230V AC 50 Hz input with low output of AC and DC. The process involves just connecting the device on to load, fix the plate at the black terminal, and the etching pad at red. Then apply the liquid supplied on the pad making it completely wet. Keep the `stencil' or `special screen' (on which the matter is cut) on to the metal to be etched. Start pressing the pad on the matter enabling the liquid to pass through the screen and make a marking thereby ending the etching process. It has the provision to mark both `brite' (plain etching) and `dark' (black etching). This can be done by a change over switch provided on the front panel of the equipment. This tool is widely used by users of public sector undertakings, defense, railways, and manufacturers of automobile spares, filters, ball bearings and SS utensils.
