Description: Micrometer allows a measurement of the size of a body. It is also known as a micrometer screw gauge. It is a widely used device in mechanical engineering for precisely measuring thickness of blocks, outer and inner diameters of shafts and depths of slots. Salient features include zero setting - ABS, data transmission via RS232C, measuring range 0-100 mm, resolution 0.01/0.001 mm, lacquered steel frame, heat insulated, spindle and anvil are carbide tipped. Spindle is made of SS, hardened throughout and ground. Ratchet is integrated in the thimbles.
