Profile: Morgan Molten Metal Systems is a supplier of crucibles. We also offer a large range of foundry products such as thermocouple sheaths, coatings and tubes. Crucible melting has good advantage over other forms of melting: namely low melting loss, and better metallurgical conditions. We manufacture quality carbon-bonded silicon carbide crucibles using the latest roller-forming techniques, and are designed to cater to a range of non-ferrous melting applications. One of our carbide crucibles is intended for aluminum melting in oil-fired furnaces, melting copper-based alloys in gas and oil-fired furnaces, and melting precious metals & non-ferrous alloys in low to medium frequency induction furnaces. Some of our roller formed crucibles are characterized by high refractoriness, good thermal conductivity, good thermal shock resistance, and chemical resistance against fluxes.
