Profile: Moss Metal Finishing Ltd. is a metal finishing service provider. Our main finishing works include blast cleaning, chemical blacking, de-embrittling, vibratory finishing, zinc plating, anodizing, hard anodizing, color anodizing and alochrom coating. For our electroplating works, we employ electroplating brightener systems. We perform blast cleaning works for cleaning components when acid pickling is to be avoided. It gives a uniform matt appearance, which is ideal for subsequent coating. Chemical blacking is a work of decorative black or blue-black finish on steel, usually oiled to give better corrosion protection. It is most suitable for machine parts. It cuts reflectivity and enhances appearance with no alteration of dimensional tolerances. We process heat treatment for stress relieving and de-embrittling to reduce the effect of hydrogen absorbed during plating of hardened steels. Vibratory finishing is a work of de-burring or polishing large volumes of small components in bowl or trough machines.
