A multi-micro venturi scrubber combines the principles of repeated venturi flow with multiple target impingements. It utilizes a 4-row bank of cylindrical elements separated by connecting partitions. It generates successive micro-venturi flows and impingement stages in gas traversing the array. Injecting water spray upstream of the multi micro venturi array yields a unique and effective mass transfer unit or particulate scrubber. It is used for dust removal in the explosives industry and acid gas/particulate removal in the aluminum, steel and chemical industries.
