The CatchAll™ receiver provides accurate measurements of radio network coverage for network verification, configuration and optimsation of narrowband radio systems like TETRA, ACPO-25, Tetrapol & GSM, with the ability to perform control channel decoding for some systems to enable cell site identification & SNR measurements. It uses advanced signal processing techniques to capture an instantaneous snapshot of the power received on all the radio channels across a wide frequency band. The MON3100 card is a low-power, software configurable DSP platform, aimed at wireless baseband signal processing applications. It contains a state-of-the-art 14-bit analogue-to-digital converter, a 150k cell FPGA (Xilinx Spartan 6) and instruments fixed/floating point DSP processor (TMS320C6746), together with useful peripherals such as a temperature sensor, 3-axis accelerometer and a u-blox GPS receiver, all packed into a 60 mm by 100 mm form factor. A variety of interfaces to external devices are provided, including hi-speed USB2 and LVDS signalling for fast data entry, and RS232, SPI & I2C for control.
