Our tire couplings have 2 cast iron flanges which are mounted on the shafts by means of taper lock bushes. Between them sits a flexible rubber tire which can accommodate high angular misalignment without imposing undue loads on the adjacent bearings, while simultaneously absorbing shock loads and vibration in the powertrain.
