Profile: New Haden Pumps Ltd. specializes in supplying de-water pumps & booster pumps for the mining and water industry. The Newpac series of packaged booster sets incorporates multi-stage pumps, accumulator vessels, and auto-changeover control panels. The S1 booster sets can be switched for automatic or manual control. In the automatic position, a fall in the system pressure caused by a demand for water is sensed by the pressure switch which starts the pump. When the demand for water ceases, the system pressure increases, and the pressure switch stops the pump. The pressure vessel makes up for small water demands, thereby preventing unnecessary pump starts. On a renewed demand the above sequence is repeated. The manual position allows the pump to run continuously, independent of the system demands.
