Description: Non-Contact Capacitive Displacement Sensors Measuring Systems of the CapaNCDT Series measure distances, lengths, dimensions, or positions of any electrically conducting targets (e.g., metals). Due to the use of the guard ring capacitor principle high linear output characteristics can be realised without additional electronic linearisation circuitry. CapaNCDT systems are further characterised by their excellent resolution and stability. A linearisation function is integrated for measurement against non-conducting or insulator materials. Capacitive displacement sensors require a clean and dry environment as dirt, dust, water or other dielectric media in the measuring gap can influence the measurement signal. A wide range of sensor and electronic unit options allow optimum solutions even for the most difficult measuring tasks. The Micro-Epsilon CapaNCDT range includes special design versions for specific customer requests for demanding applications requiring nano-precision sensors, as well as low-cost versions for OEM applications.
