Profile: Northern Joinery Ltd. specializes in manufacturing staircases. Raw materials are all kiln dried. Kiln dried materials are a necessity in centrally heated properties to prevent excessive shrinkage and distortion. All our raw materials are carefully selected for similarity and grain patterns so that they all appear the same, this is particularly when pre-finishing. Volute or wreathed volute handrails can be incorporated into most staircase designs. The handrail design is a different profile to our standard molded handrail and is available from a choice of softwood, red hardwood or oak.
