Our UV coatings consist of an aluminum layer, and a thin protective SiO2 (quartz). Our protected aluminum coatings can be used as ultraviolet mirrors or broadband mirrors, featuring high reflection from the ultraviolet to the infrared light range. By adding dielectric over coatings, the reflection can be modified for specific wavelengths or reflection ranges.
