Profile: Oakley Steel Limited is a distributor of carbon and low alloy steel plate for boilers & pressure vessels. We specialize in pressure vessel quality plate for corrosive environments, where hydrogen induced cracking resistance are important, and chrome molybdenum plate for high temperature applications. We supply A 516 in grades 60 & 70, with impact & ultrasonic testing as required and in grades 60, 65 & 70. We also supply A 387 in grades 5, 11, 12 and 22. We supply a variety of plates for other applications such as ship building, construction and where wear & abrasion resistance is important. Our steel is rolled and is selected so that the toughest engineering specifications are met. We deliver steel globally. We focus on providing steel plate from stock to boiler & pressure vessel manufacturers, fabricators and E&C companies. Our ASTM A 516 carbon steel plate is our principal product. A516 boiler plate is used in a huge variety of pressure applications in many different industries. We supply a wide range of plate sizes and thicknesses from 6mm to 150mm. We also supply it to meet a range of requirements from the normal supplementary requirements, to particular chemical values and to meet various test requirements according to NACEMR0175 standards. We offer several fine grain pressure vessel quality steels to EN10028. Many of our plates are used in the offshore industry for the construction of platforms and rigs.
