Description: Teflon is a co-polymer and can withstand much higher temperatures and pressures remaining stable in all sorts of chemically aggressive condition. Teflon has the lowest co-efficient of friction and therefore is the substance for use in lubricants. Using the technique to keep the fine molecule of Teflonat .05-micron size in perfect suspension PTFE/Teflon-based products are manufactured. FIN-25 is an oil additive and when used in gearboxes gives a protective layer of PTFE/Teflon on all moving parts, including bearings, shafts, cogged wheels and worm wheels, giving a primary lubrication. Under ideal condition some portions of gear box is without oil during starts and this Teflon coating gives an easy and comfortable start reducing the torque power resulting in energy saving and reduction of wear and tear. This prolongs the life of the machine parts and also the life of oil. The excessive heating of the gearbox due to the frictional forces working on the gear parts is avoided as PTFE/Teflon take over the additional load and gives super-smooth working and avoids jerky stick-slip movement, which is commonly observed in such machine. Compressors, hydraulic systems, and diesel and petrol engines show enhanced efficiency and savings on energy.
