Our services include end dimensioning services, weld scanning services, and video inspection services. The OMS Pipe Checker™ straightness tool enables the operator to quickly and accurately determine the straightness of a pipe. The tool uses a laser beam as a straight line in space. By ensuring that this line is the same distance away from the pipe at two different locations (both ends of the pipe), the straightness can be measured at any other point between these locations, to 1 mm accuracy if required. The internal weld scanning tool is an innovative system that internally scans welds inside pipes, both visually and dimensionally, enabling the quality of the root weld to be assessed quickly and confidently. The tool is only available on a service contract/rental basis, with a trained operator/inspector.
