Profile: Otto Junker (U K) Ltd. manufactures electric process heating and melting equipment. We offer the foundry a range of automatic pouring furnaces from 1.5 tonnes, 120 kW for direct pouring of all kinds of cast iron on indexing and continuous mold lines. The furnaces are made of a vessel with a siphon-like filling gate and pouring spout with a flange mounted stopper mechanism. The elevated filling gate makes it possible to refill the furnace whilst pouring is going on. The channel casing is flanged to provide a mechanical separation of the inductor from the furnace vessel. This separate inductor enables the foundry to carry out a quick and cheap coil change without the need for a complete re-line. The furnace can be back tilted hydraulically, for complete emptying.
