PTFE Or Glass-lined Valves
PTFE or Glass-Lined Valves are designed for use on glass-lined reactors where batch-to-batch cleanability is important. The glass-linedsteel design ensures no metal contamination of the process fluid and is used across a wide temperature and pressure range. The valve seat seals against the bottom outlet nozzle to prevent collection or build-up of materials in the annular area between the valve seat and nozzle wall. This is used on glass-lined reactors in the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals industry. SchuF specializes in the production of valves. The designs are based on the cavity-free requirement of bottom outlet valves, at the same time providing tight seating and minimum leakage to atmosphere.
