The labels can be either pre-printed, or printed on demand. The labels are often called "stick-on labels" because they have an adhesive glue backing which is peeled away from the label before it is affixed to a package. The labels are roll fed into the labeler and then applied by either wipe-on, tamp or blow-on style applicators. Table top conveyors are used for conveying all types lighter packages such as cans, bottles, jars and cartons. Table top conveyors are flexible which allows for turning, diverting, merging or accumulating products. Table top conveyors can be manufactured for different products and are used in a variety of applications including product filling, labeling, weighing and inspection. Stainless steel frame conveyors are often used for food packaging, beverage packaging and other applications which require frequent wash-downs and cleaning or applications with harsh environments. Steel frame conveyors are used in non-wash-down locations such as labeling areas.
