Profile: Packaging Progressions, Inc. designs & manufactures high speed interleaving, counting, tray loading and stacking equipment for the bakery, meat & poultry industries. Our equipment meets the requirements for sanitation, ease of maintenance, increased production and improved product presentation. We specialize in interfacing with existing formers, slicers, ovens and freezers. Our interleavers place a programmed length of paper or film under the product (patties, formed portions, sliced meats, pizzas, tortillas, empanadas & crepes). The material can then be folded or wrapped around the product for ease of separation, sanitary handling and with foil sheets, box to oven baking. Our large variety of programmable stacking modules automatically count and stack the interleaved portions into uniform groups. The uniform stacked groups are then conveyed to wrapping or cartoning machines, or can be easily packed off by hand.
