Our PN & HY series of pneumatic & hydraulic scotch-yoke actuators have been designed specifically to guarantee long cycle life in the most demanding applications and environmental conditions. A fabricated steel frame, coupled with an all-steel construction, results in a lighter and more corrosion resistant actuator than traditional ones that employ castings. A light design, superior corrosion resistance and an ingress protection rating of IP66 as standard, makes the PN & HY series an ideal choice for offshore applications, or any other in which weight and corrosion resistance are critical design considerations. Our self-contained hydraulic power units (HPUs) are designed to operate single or multiple hydraulic actuators where use of pneumatics is not practical, available or preferred. These units can be electrically motor driven, pneumatically motor driven or both. These units are designed to meet customer requirements to include monitoring of pressures, level and flow, redundancy and can include motor starters & bespoke local electrical control and indication. Stand-alone units using solar panels without the need for any local utilities are also available.
