Pneuma-Seal custom inflatable seals are used to solve the most difficult sealing challenges. Its uses include sealing horizontal or vertical sliding doors, sealing large fabricated doors or other closures, and creating quick connect/disconnect seals in high volume process equipment. Pneuma-Cel standardized (and custom) inflatable bladders are used to provide soft, conformal clamping and/or to impart variabilized pressure over a large surface area. These are used as conveyor brakes/stops or as clamping bladders for large aircraft wing fixtures. Bladder style inflatable actuators can be used to push pieces into place, move or reposition components, and/or actuate switching devices. Inflatable actuators work particularly well when a short stroke to apply a uniform, linear force is required. These pneumatic actuators provide uniform force against a sliding door when locked and in the open positions. The door is compressed against an O-ring manufactured of PFE (perfluoroelastomer), which is used when either harsh chemicals or low material outgassing is imperative, such as with certain types of semiconductor equipment. We also offer custom elastomeric compression seals, gaskets, tubing, trim and bumpers.
