Camper beam axles are used by camping and other small trailers, and offer a faster and more economical method of building a trailer as they are simply welded or clamped to the chassis depending upon its design. A 50 mm x 25 mm box section has either 250 kg or 350 kg rubber suspension units welded onto each end. Camper beam axles are generally supplied in a 3 inches width, but are also available in any other width up to 4 inches if required. The units welded on either side of the box section determine the gross weight capacity.
